Md. Redoan Hossain Bhuiyan brings over four years of specialized experience in research design, study planning, field operations, and large-scale data management. Holding both a Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in Geography and Environment from Jahangirnagar University, he combines expertise in spatial analysis with advanced quantitative data management. At ARCED Foundation, Redoan contributes to institutional data management systems and supports the design and implementation of mixed-methods research studies.
Prior to joining ARCED, Redoan served as a Data Analyst at the Development Research Initiative (dRi), where he managed data workflows for approximately 30 donor-funded projects on behalf of leading international organizations and research institutions. His background includes overseeing data integrity, high-frequency validation checks, and strict ethical compliance for large-scale household surveys.
Redoan is skilled in translating complex research protocols into functional digital tools using SurveyCTO, ODK, and KoboToolbox. He specializes in Stata, frequently developing custom programs for automated data management, quality assessments, and data exploration. His technical toolkit also spans GIS and Remote Sensing software (ArcGIS and QGIS), alongside Python, Power BI, and web development basics. Beyond systems design, Redoan is dedicated to capacity building, regularly conducting technical training for field operations teams and research staff on rigorous data management and ethical standards.
